After a highly successful talk on the subject by Larry Bennett at Blake Museum in September, the Friends are pleased to let you know that Larry will be curating an exhibition on the subject at Blake Museum.
The exhibition will run from the 7th of October to the 7th of November. Come along and view the artefacts and information associated with the cutting-edge technology of the 1920s.
The Bridgwater Wireless Station was constructed by Marconi on behalf of the General Post Office, as part of the Imperial Wireless initiative to handle the United Kingdom’s first transoceanic wireless telegraph service linking to Canada and South Africa.
The museum looks forward to you visiting.
Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3pm
